However, first grade and kindergarten are more like learning to count and playing with the other kids, haha. Not a great learning environment. Unfortunately they tried teaching me French in Kindergarten when I didn't know anything about anything so my reaction was "Wut" and they stopped teaching it to me. :( Yeah, Spanish or French should definitely be taught at an early age.
